Jocelyn Easton Boyde once had an empire of fiber, but time and technology march on. After a string of bad investments Easton found herself in bankruptcy and the company she had built from the ground up dissolved and sold over for it’s bones. Two years later Easton had gone from mogel to a bar owner just outside the finical district.
Easton’s keeps a mix of people you would think wouldn’t go together, at least not until you stop to really look at who’s there. Sure there are the normal array of company men you expect to find in any up town bar. There’s also the the types that looked like they were raked up from the bottom of a swamp and the real money guys, those people that have so much wealth it just kind of radiates around them. Somehow Easton’s pulls all these people together in a relatively friendly atmosphere.
One might wonder how this works and that’s where the trading floor comes in. The basement of Easton’s is a whole other world of back end deals, drug buys, money laundering, any sort of business those too proper to get their hands dirty can work out with the filth. Easton doesn’t care what the deal is. Stay civil and bring cash. It costs to get into the trading floor and people trying to broker deals on the main floor are quickly targeted and removed.
