- A devastating and analytical striking style using the opponent’s timing against them.
Muay Thai, or Thai kickboxing has been called the art (or science) of eight limbs, due to its use of elbows, fists, knees, and shins. Modern Muay evolved from the military training developed in mid-16th century Thailand. Mua Femur, the KIng’s Discipline, trains the kickboxer to study foes, analyzing their style and timing, before closing in ranks to finish the fight.
Muay Femur Muay Thai uses the eight limbs to keep foes at bay with long jabs, and push kicks. The fighter uses this distance to learn everything they can about their opponent. A master of Muay Femur Muay Thai exposes weaknesses fighter’s didn’t know they had and exploits openings no one else can see. They dismantle their foes in a way that few others can match.
Associated Weapons: None, Krabi-Krabong is a weapon style that may be practiced in parallel.
Muay Femur fighters maintain a deceptively open tall stance with a high guard. Their training hardens both their forearms and shins allowing them to block their arms and legs. This open stance allows the martial artist to easily probe or test opponents as they look for openings.

Nothing stands before the Thai fighter and victory. The martial artist’s strikes are as powerful as a rifle, and with a keen eye they rip through the defenses of armored targets with ease. While the martial artist is capable of defending themselves, Many Muay Thai practitioners prefer a strike first philosophy, reading their foe’s actions and interrupting them before they can act.

Use In Conflict
To say you are not a defensive fighter is only partially correct. What may be more accurate is that you are aggressively defensive. Don’t be afraid to Lunge to get in an opponent’s face. Let them try and attack you. Then punish them with Keep Away Kicks for the folly. For more skilled foe’s use an Active Defense for the first few Attacks, until you can Get Their Timing. Then move into more aggressive tactics and unleash Total Devastation. On the other end of this spectrum, Major Mobs can be tough to begin with, but much weaker once their numbers are thinned. An opening gambit, or early Keep Away Kicks using Total Devastation can quickly reduce their effective ranks.
