A small furry omnivore, the fox is an (mostly) undomesticated cousin of the canine. Weighing between one and a half and four kilograms, foxes are known to be quick, playful predators with a curiosity for their surroundings.
Foxes have sharp teeth and are the only member of the dog family with a partially retractable claw. Foxes also have extremely acute senses, some so keen as to be able to hear rodents moving under the ground. Quick, and agile, part of this speed comes from their lightweight bone structure. Their coat is also adaptable, allowing them to survive in extreme cold, although foxes can be found in a variety of climates.
