There were a lot of conversations on how best to handle the text for some characters. Jake’s design looked so much like Kirby dots, that was it. There’s some many other small details in this page, that made it really stand out for me.

For our table top fans, the MCPA and DCDD are key laws for both the MCPD and BMA. AAP TTLY

On  a more serious note, the fictions laws and government agencies have sad a grounding in reality. The BMA, or Bureau of Metahuman Affairs, is based on the Bureau if Indian Affairs. Which if you’ve never heard of is worth looking up, but only if you want to be mad. The DCDD, Don’t Compete, Don’t Devalue, is more analogous to the now defunct Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, which was a law that claimed to be a good faith effort, but ended up hurting so many.
